In 1997, Joe Petrilak, head of the Valiant Fan Club, produced a limited lithograph as part of the \"Acclaim Ink\" fan club program that depicted both the Valiant and Acclaim versions of Bloodshot drawn by the respective artist of each book (Don Perlin and Sal Velluto). Was later reprinted for the Unity Files print set.

Unity Files Print Set

In 1998, Joe Petrilak, head of the Valiant Fan Club, produced a limited set of 27 prints mostly from the Unity crossover. Included were all 18 Unity covers, four never before seen character sketches, a reproduction of the \"VH-1 Bloodshot meets the VH-2 Bloodshot\" lithograph, an unpublished Solar piece, and color reproductions of the Diamond Unity trade cover by Frank Miller, the cover of Solar #1 and the cover to Harbinger #1. Twelve of the sets were signed by Jim Shooter.

Unity/Unity 2000 \"to be continued\" edition

In 1999, Joe Petrilak, head of the Valiant Fan Club, produced a limited number of signed books from the Unity crossover during an interview with writer Jim Shooter for the upcoming Unity 2000 title. Each book was inscribed \"To be continued...Shooter\" on the cover.

Valiantcomics.com Validated Signature Series (VcVSS)

The original Valiant Validated Signature Series (VVSS) officially started in 1993, with the Valiant solicitation of signed copies of top selling books. The books were solicited through distributors directly from Valiant, and included a certificate, a Valiant-logo holder, and each book was embossed on the cover or first page. The books were limited to 5,500 copies or less. The original retail price of a VVSS edition was $24.95. Valiant fans took inspiration from this and began creating their own fan projects under the title of Valiantcomics.com Validated Signature Series aka VcVSS

Magnus Robot Fighter #0 VcVSS

In 2004, former Valiant Editor-In-Chief Bob Layton offered a case of 40 copies of Magnus Robot Fighter #0 for sale to members of the ValiantComics.com message board. Bob Layton and Janet 'JayJay' Jackson (the colorist) were asked to sign the books, and a certificate following the style of the VVSS books was created. The certificate was signed by the original buyer and the owner/author of ValiantComics.com. The certificate was also embossed.

The signed Magnus Robot Fighter #0 books were offered for sale on the ValiantComics.com message board at cost, including the original purchase price of the books and the shipping for signatures. The end result was a not-for-profit fan project that distributed Mr. Layton's personal copies of Magnus Robot Fighter #0 to collectors.
